Villa Caletas on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica

The Villa Caletas (Hotel and Restaurant) on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica is a "must visit" for lovers, married couples, and honeymooners.

The photos above were taken from the Villa Caletas and show Herradura Bay and part of the Los Suenos Marriott Resort complex, also recommended by Zayra.

Located on a towering mountain and skirted by luxuriant jungle, the Villa Caletas has a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean, Herradura Bay, and the Costa Rican resort complexes below. Its architecture was inspired by French tropical Victorian and Neo-classic designs. Among its many amenities the Villa Caletas' lush gardens, edge pool and Greek amphitheater are worth checking out, especially during sunsets. Its open air El Mirador restaurant is "world class" and features French and other international dishes. The mile-long drive up the landscaped road to the Villa Caletas continually overlooks the Pacific coastline and offers one of the most picturesque long-lasting views of sky, ocean and jungle melded specifically for that visitor wanting to just get away from it all and "touch" paradise.

Caution: If you have any career what-so-ever, the visit to the Villa Caletas and the Costa Rican Central Pacific Coast can make one seriously think whether the "daily grind" to nurture a successful career is really worth it when just taking it easy in a very cost-effective paradise in a country that offers excellent health care can be the alternative.
