The Los Suenos Marriott Ocean and Golf Resort on the Central Pacific of Costa Rica is a "must visit" for tourists, families, and business executives looking for a relaxing time in an absolute ecological paradise. Its tight security is welcomed by the "Rich and Famous", including parents with children and senior citizens. English is spoken most everywhere, the cable television news channels include CNBC, CNN and FOX, American weekly magazines are available, and the front desk even provides daily digests of the New York Times.

 But if you wish to get away from it all and like watching sunsets, check out the sports bar and terrace that overlook Herradura Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Zayra says that the best Manhattans in Central America (and south of the Turtle Club in Punta Gorda, Florida) are made here. Fabian, Elmer, Carlos, Jorge, and the rest of the Marriott superb staff will see to it that your drinks are made exactly to your specifications.

If you wish to learn about landscaping, the Marriott at Los Suenos will have you wondering whether you are in Palm Beach or Costa Rica.

 And, during your stay don't be surprised if you find yourself sitting next to famous football or automobile racing sports celebrities who have flown in for the weekend to unwind. Then again, when that oversized black limo with the tinted windows shows up, there is no telling who's inside (unless you enjoy a few drinks near the reception desk and keep your eyes open).

The Los Suenos Marriott Resort is a little over an hour by car using the new highway from San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. It's only a few minutes north of Jaco Beach, the Pacific "surf capital" of the Americas. The drive between San Jose and the Pacific Coast using either the "old" or "new" highway is one of the most picturesque drives in the world. A number of executives prefer taking a helicopter to save time, but the  car drive on the "old" highway captures the essence of Costa Rica and its friendly people. Zayra recommends the Marriott Resort for real estate executives looking to add a "piece of paradise" to their portfolios.
